The short version
25-0 has no accounts, no sign-up, and no server-side database. Your draft and career run are held only in your browser's session storage and disappear when you close the tab; we never see them. What we do collect is limited to basic analytics (below) and, if you accept, cookies used to serve ads.
What we don't collect
No accounts. No sign-up. No email addresses, unless you choose to email us yourself. No payment information — the game is free. No gameplay data is stored on any server; your build and career results live only in your browser and are gone the moment you close the tab.
Analytics
We use PostHog and Google Analytics to understand how people use the game. Basic, anonymous traffic counting — page views, general device and browser information, and referrer/traffic source — runs for every visitor, the same way Vercel Analytics does below, without needing a cookie choice: nothing is stored on your device (no cookies, nothing that survives closing the tab), and no profile is created for you.
If you accept cookies, this upgrades to fuller tracking — PostHog and Google Analytics may then store an identifier in your browser to recognize repeat visits, and we start collecting gameplay interaction events, for example which difficulty or draft mode you picked, and your career result (wins/losses). None of this is tied to your name, email, or any account, because none of those exist here. If you decline or later withdraw, this upgraded tracking — and the gameplay events — stop immediately, not just next visit; the basic anonymous counting above is all that continues.
Separately, we use Vercel Analytics for basic, cookieless traffic statistics (page views and general visitor counts). This always runs without cookies or personal identifiers, regardless of the cookie choice below.
We also record the cookie banner itself — that it was shown, and whether it was accepted or declined — so we can tell a declined choice apart from a banner nobody answered. That record is a timestamp and the page address, nothing more: no cookie, no identifier, and no way to connect it back to you or to any other visit.
Beyond the anonymous counting above, nothing else loads until you accept the cookie banner. You can decline, and the game still works exactly the same.
Advertising
25-0 may show ads served by Google AdSense. If it does, Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising, or see which companies have opted into cookie-based ad serving, at adssettings.google.com. You can also manage cookie preferences for participating vendors at aboutads.info/choices.
Your choice
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you're OK with analytics and ad cookies. You can accept or decline. Declining doesn't break anything — you can still draft, simulate, and share. If you decline or later withdraw, analytics stops receiving new events immediately — not just next visit.
Changed your mind? to reset your choice and show the banner again — no need to dig through browser settings.
Fighter data
Fighter names and attribute ratings shown in the game are independent editorial content, not personal data about you — see the disclaimer on every page for details on how that data is sourced and used.
