Seventeen of his 23 wins came by submission, and the UFC ones include Duffy, Yakovlev and Diakiese. He also has finishes by TKO and knockout, against Belluardo, Moises, Brener and Klose. That is a fighter who can end it on his feet or on the mat. The Brener win earned Performance of the Night.
Wrestling at 74 and a fight card that often changed
He was removed from UFC 262 in May 2021 and withdrew from UFC 284 in February 2023 and a March 2024 fight with Ludovit Klein for undisclosed reasons. A hand injury cost him UFC 315 against Benoit Saint Denis in May 2025. Losses to Tsarukyan, Amosov and Njokuani came in the second round or on the cards. A wrestler in another slot covers the gap.
