Hacran Dias: a Nova Uniao featherweight who lived on the scorecards

Every one of Dias's eight UFC fights went to a decision. He beat Darren Elkins at UFC Fight Night 58 in December 2014 and Levan Makashvili on a split decision at UFC Fight Night 70 in June 2015, when Makashvili replaced Chas Skelly. After the UFC he won a first-round armbar over Mauricio Machado at Shooto Brazil 84 in May 2018 and fought in Absolute Championship Akhmat. His first stoppage loss, to Vener Galiev, came in December 2023.

Dias, attribute by attribute

Boxing. 74. Nik Lentz beat him on a unanimous decision at UFC on FX 8 in May 2013 after replacing Manvel Gamburyan.

Kickboxing. 74. Ricardo Lamas won a unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 44 in June 2014, after Dias had been away for over a year.

Wrestling. 76. Cub Swanson beat him on a unanimous decision at UFC on Fox 19 in April 2016.

Strength. 74. Andre Fili replaced Brian Ortega and beat him on a unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 96 in October 2016.

Durability. 78. None of his first eight UFC fights ended early, and Galiev's TKO in 2023 was the first stoppage of his career.

Cardio. 82, his best. He went the full fifteen minutes against Alcantara, Elkins and Makashvili and won all three.

Fight IQ. 76. He withdrew from a December 2012 bout with Chad Mendes days before it with a shoulder injury, and from a January 2014 fight with Tatsuya Kawajiri with an injury.

Cardio at 82 and three decision wins

Alcantara in 2012, Elkins in 2014 and Makashvili in 2015 all lost to him on the cards. In ACA he beat Ustarmagomed Gadzhidaudov and later lost a split decision to Abdul-Aziz Abdulvakhabov for the lightweight title in November 2021. If your build needs a fighter who wins by volume and survives, he fits.

A flat card with no single weapon

Boxing, kickboxing and strength all sit at 74. Lentz, Lamas, Swanson, Fili and Jared Gordon each beat him by unanimous decision, and Gordon's win at UFC Fight Night 119 in October 2017 was his last UFC fight. He missed weight for the Fili fight, which was held at 148.5 pounds. A finisher in another slot gives the build a way to win early.
